The family of Baker Bani Jaber in Khirbet Al-Tawil, near Aqraba, has been subjected to repeated brutal attacks by settlers, most recently the theft of approximately 450 head of sheep, which was their sole source of livelihood for ten people. Baker believes the systematic goal of these assaults, which included beating his family unconscious, is to strip them of their livelihood and sow fear to force them off the land.
